Meet Dianne
I was raised in Columbia, SC, and attended A.C. Flora High School and Clemson University. Several years after graduating from college, I relocated to S. Florida and resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for over 20 years. In 2015, I returned and lived in the Shandon area from 2015 to 2020. I then moved to Lexington where I now reside. I love the Midlands of SC. It offers a wonderful, balanced lifestyle and I enjoy introducing the area to my Relocation clients.
In choosing a profession, it is important to know your "WHY". It's easy to define what you do and how you do it, but "why" do you do it? What drives you? What makes you happy? Over time, it became clear that my “Why” was helping others both personally and professionally. I am most happy when I’ve been able to have a positive impact on someone's life. That can be helping you find your dream home, sell your existing home or helping you find the right groomer for your 4 legged best friend.
Whether working with Buyers or Sellers, my first priority is to understand your "Why" as well as your what, when, and how. Why are you looking for a home? What is your time frame? When do you need to move? What are you looking for?
After thoroughly understanding your needs and desires, I employ a thorough, detailed process that ensures getting you where you need to be, when you need to be there, and in the home that makes you happy - all within your financial goals.
A big part of a successful real estate transaction is setting expectations and managing the process. I go to great lengths with my clients to ensure that they understand the process. Setting expectations is also very important. There are many things that can come up between signing a contract and getting to the closing table. It is important that you are prepared to “expect the unexpected” and that you are comfortable with my ability to resolve the “unexpected” while also managing the “expected”.
In addition to serving my clients, I enjoy mentoring and coaching other agents. It’s my way of “giving back” to my profession. Real Estate Agents bear the responsibility of understanding the complexities of real estate transactions and guiding their clients through a very complex transaction. If I can assist another Real Estate Agents in establishing and growing their business while also instilling the importance of commitment, knowledge and professionalism. I then feel that I have made a positive contribution to my brokerage and my profession.
I am active in the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®. I served on the CCRA Board of Directors for 7 years and served as President in 2024. I currently sit on the Professional Standards Committee and the Legislative Committee for SCR.
On a personal note, I love being outdoors and have a special love for the mountains. I love all animals and I am an advocate for animal safety and well-being. I support several Shelters and Rescue groups and I have a wonderful, 15 lb., 4 year old “mutt” named Cash. He is great fun and charms everyone he meets. You may see him with me occasionally when showing homes!
