Richland One, a nationally accredited school district serves 24,000 students from 57 countries and with 26 languages spoken. Lexington County School District One's mission statement states that it uses its academic curriculum to form students into collaborative, multilingual leaders who are confident in academics, who embrace diverse experiences, and who have global awareness.
